Year Story
A two-show foundation year
A week before the show, I walked the garden each morning and tracked blooms that looked likely to peak on show day. That routine made it easier to build a realistic category plan and avoid last-minute decisions.
At Factoria in Bellevue, I worked through tags, vases, and table placement with help from the Seattle Rose Society volunteers. The process moved quickly, but it was exciting to see all the entries together and learn how details affected presentation.
Later that year at Molbak's in Woodinville, I won Best 3 Stems with Pink Flamingo. 2021 became the start of this rose show archive and set the baseline for everything that followed.
