A two-show milestone year
This year felt more strategic from the start. I mapped likely entries a week ahead, protected promising blooms from weather swings, and carried a cleaner, category-first checklist into Bellevue so setup moved quickly at check-in.
The energy at the Seattle Rose Show in Factoria was high, with strong entries across sections and lots of friendly discussion around grooming and stem presentation. By the end of judging, I was thrilled to win both the Fabulous Five Challenge and the Chair's Challenge.
At the second show at Molbak's in Woodinville, I won Best 3 Stems again, this time with Michaelangelo. The 2023 results across both shows made this one of my most rewarding years.
