Show Recap

Seattle Rose Show 2026

A standout day at the 113th Annual Seattle Rose Society show (“Game of Thorns”) in Factoria, Bellevue, Washington — six ribbons including three blue-ribbon wins (SRS 2 English Box Challenge plus Hot Cocoa in classes A3 and B6).

Show Day

Game of Thorns at Factoria

The 113th Annual Seattle Rose Show — themed Game of Thorns — ran June 20–21, 2026 at the Marketplace at Factoria. I cut and conditioned blooms early, packed everything for the drive, and laid out entries on a staging table outside the venue before judging began.

I entered hybrid teas, climbers, and English shrub roses, plus a playful entry in the Show Chair’s Challenge. The day’s highlight was the SRS 2 English Box Challenge — six English-style shrub roses, six different varieties, displayed in a box.
